It's About Time...

Bob Thomas, President

As the seasons change, it seemed appropriate to dedicate a newsletter to time-related issues. Whether it is the crucial hours following the tragic kidnapping of a child or the simple matter of adjusting the time scale of your chart to alter the perception of events, time is what timelines are all about.

In this issue you will find useful tips on how to make the most of your time scale, plus a very compelling article about how The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children uses timelines to help with their investigations.

Finally, don’t forget to take this month’s reader poll and tell us your favourite chart themes. We are working on an all new theme library for Timeline Maker Professional and your feedback will be very helpful. The new themes will be featured in our upcoming release (free update), so borrowing from an old cliché, time is of the essence.

As always we welcome your comments and suggestions about anything you see in this newsletter.

As a Timeline Maker customer, you have been automatically subscribed and we invite you to contact us at editor@timelinemaker.com with any thoughts or suggestions for future issues or to be featured in our "Timeline Maker in Action" section.

Saving Time by Being Organized

I am a forensic psychiatrist. I use Timeline Maker to display, on a website, the progress of meetings and reports to those who purchase my services. I also display my current availability and workload. This gives clients a degree of control and saves both of us time with telephone enquiries. My web-based timeline produced with Timeline Maker provides excellent communication, planning and customer satisfaction. The volume of my work has increased but so too has my efficiency. So, I'm enjoying even greater success. Thanks a bunch to Timeline Maker.
