Timelines Help Find Missing Children

The United States Federal Bureau of Investigation and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children currently use Timeline Maker Professional to assist in the investigation and recovery of kidnapped children.

Progeny is proud to be a corporate sponsor for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Founded in 1984 by John and Revé Walsh, the Center is a leader in assisting local and federal law enforcement on cases involving missing children.

We became a corporate sponsor by donating Timeline Maker software for every investigator on the "Team Adam" unit. There are over 65 investigators on Team Adam and most are ex-FBI or law enforcement investigators. The Center has long believed in the use of technology to enhance the process of locating missing children. This latest addition helps the Center to better create, manage and present timelines to solve cases.

“Over the past three years, our consultants on Team Adam have deployed on 261 missing children’s cases,” said Brenda Galarza, assistant project manager at Team Adam, an on-site rapid response and support system for law enforcement provided by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. “Having Timeline Maker Professional on each laptop helps us to further assist law enforcement on these complex investigations.”

Law enforcement agents can benefit from Timeline Maker Professional’s easy-to-use software by effectively documenting a sequence of events such as tracking a suspect’s movements, credit card transactions or cell phone records. It may also be used as an analysis tool to discern patterns of events or to communicate strategies between multiple law enforcement agencies for investigative planning purposes.
