Today Bar

The Today Bar is a thin line placed on the current date on the timescale. Note: the Today Bar is only available in the Bar Timeline and Project Timeline.

To show/hide the Today Bar:

1. While viewing the timeline chart, select the Home tab.
2. In the Chart group, click the checkbox beside Show Today Bar. A checkmark in the checkbox indicates that border will be included on the timeline.
   

To change the Today Bar color:

1. While viewing the timeline chart, select the Home tab.
2. In the Chart group, click the down arrow beside Show Today Bar.
3. Choose a color from either the Theme Colors (drawn from the theme currently in use), Standard Colors, or click More Colors to choose a custom color.
