The Flag Timeline is a graphical representation of the data in your timeline file. In the Flag Timeline, events are placed in boxes, connected to the timescale by either single or double arrows. This allows you to position events anywhere on the timeline, as you are not restricted to the date/time they occurred.
To create a Flag Timeline:
- After entering data in the Event List, select the New Timeline Chart tab or click the New Timeline Chart thumbnail in the Timeline Charts pane on the left of your screen.
- Under Select timeline layout, click the Flag option.
A new Flag Timeline will automatically be displayed in its own tab, and a convenient thumbnail of the timeline will appear in the Timeline Charts pane.
